Minimum Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate must have:- N4 & N5 Multi-Disciplinary Drawing Office Practice (MDDOP)
- Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional (CSWP) certification through Dassault Systèmes
- Minimum 3 years experience working within a mechanical engineering environment
- Minimum 3 years SOLIDWORKS experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including creating Bills of Materials (BOMs), costings and planning schedules
- Basic understanding of Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMM) and underground mining equipment
- Basic understanding of flameproof equipment requirements and certification for underground mining applications
- Exposure to project planning and project management
Key Skills
The ideal candidate will be technically minded, detail-oriented and able to work accurately in a demanding engineering environment. Strong SOLIDWORKS skills and an understanding of mechanical design principles are essential.
