Qualifications and Certifications Required:

  • Matric
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise or Service Provider
  • Juniper Networks Certified Professional (JNCIP-SP or JNCIP-ENT) (Preferred)
  • Fortinet NSE4/NSE5+ (Advantageous)
  • AWS/Azure Cloud Networking Certifications (Advantageous)
  • ITIL Foundation (Preferred)
  • SD-WAN Vendor Certifications (VMware VeloCloud, Cisco SD-WAN, Fortinet SD-WAN, etc.)
Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network architecture or solution design within an ISP or enterprise connectivity environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ISP backbone infrastructure, last-mile deployment models, SD-WAN, MPLS, APN, and enterprise connectivity.
  • Proficiency in routing, switching, and firewall technologies from major vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.).
  • Experience working with Cloudflare or similar CDN and DDoS mitigation technologies.
  • Strong understanding of VoIP and SIP-based communication services.
  • Ability to engage with C-level and mid-management stakeholders, translating complex solutions into business value propositions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience responding to tenders, RFPs, and customer proposals.
  • A good understanding of IT infrastructure, security, and cloud networking is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and propose ISP and enterprise network solutions covering Voice, APN, SD-WAN/MPLS, Internet Access, and related services.
  • Develop and present technical architecture to customers, sales teams, and senior management in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Work with ISP backbone and last-mile technologies to design scalable, resilient, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure seamless deployment of solutions.
  • Ensure security best practices in firewalling, CDN technologies (Cloudflare, etc.), and overall network infrastructure.
  • Provide technical input for tender responses, RFPs, and proposals to secure business opportunities.
  • Conduct customer workshops, proof of concepts (POCs), and training sessions as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging ISP, connectivity, and cybersecurity technologies.
  • Document network designs, technical specifications, and project implementation plans.
