experienced and strategic Distribution Sales Director to lead and grow its distribution
channel within Johannesburg and surrounding regions. This role is responsible for
driving revenue growth, strengthening distributor relationships, and expanding market
share.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute distribution sales strategies to drive revenue and market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, vendors, and key
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the distribution channel
- Analyse sales and marketing performance, recommending improvements where
- Prepare and manage all documentation for Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
- Set sales targets, forecast growth, and track performance against KPIs
- Lead and mentor sales teams to achieve business objectives
- Collaborate with internal teams to support partner enablement and end-user
- Strengthen internal and external relationships to increase lead generation and
- Present strategic opportunities and performance reports to senior management
- Drive initiatives to support distributors with tools, training, and marketing
- Contribute to the company’s long-term strategic planning
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related
- 5–10 years’ experience in sales or marketing
- 3–5 years’ experience in a managerial or leadership role
- Proven experience in distribution sales or business development
- Experience within the CCTV/security industry is essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking ability
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- High level of business acumen
- Results-driven with strong attention to detail
- Initial 12-month fixed-term contract
- 6-month probation period
