Job Description
Our client who is the food processing business has an opportunity for an energetic individual to join their team in the capacity of a Supervisor -Fresh Production. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following:
Production- Responsible for mince, skinpack, fresh cut and value add production process
- Develop, review and implement efficient and effective procedures and processes to optimize production
- Stock control management (stock rotation).
- Ensure product meets all customer requirements especially but not limited to product appearance, packing and labelling.
- Supervise and control subordinates activities to ensure daily production targets are met
- Supervise time and attendance of all subordinates
- Always ensure acceptable personal hygiene of all staff
- Always manage correct use of PPE
- Matric
- Diploma in Food Technology or related field
- 5 years experience in the meat industry
- Process Management
- System Orientated
