Requirements:

Grade 12 Certificate (NQF 4)
Trade Test: Millwright (NQF 5)
Minimum 3 years experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of maintenance practices, SOPs, and safety standards
Basic computer literacy (MS Office, SAP/ERP systems)
Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
Proactive, resilient, flexible, and customer-focused
Excellent planning, organising, and communication skills

Job Duties:

Perform mechanical and electrical inspections, repairs, and maintenance of equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and optimal operation.
Diagnose and repair equipment faults to minimise downtime and damage
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Ensure equipment operates according to technical and production standards
Support production by resolving process-related issues promptly
Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures
Monitor costs, control resources, and report deviations
Maintain effective relationships with colleagues and customers to ensure high service quality
