A dynamic and growing company is seeking a creative, driven, and analytical Social / Digital Media Marketing Specialist to join their marketing team. Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing the companys online presence, and driving audience engagement across all social media platforms while supporting broader digital marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Content Planning, Creation & Management
  • Create and manage monthly content plans.
  • Create and schedule engaging, high-quality content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X (Twitter).
  • Write compelling captions tailored to diverse South African audiences and cultures.
  • Develop engaging blog articles aligned with brand voice and SEO strategies.
  • Create email marketing content for newsletters, campaigns, promotions, and product updates.
Community Management
  • Respond to comments, messages, and reviews professionally and timeously.
  • Build and maintain an engaged online community through interactive campaigns, polls, and content initiatives.
Advertising Campaigns
  • Plan, launch, monitor, and optimise paid social media advertising campaigns.
  • Analyse and track campaign performance metrics including CTR, CPC, ROI, and engagement rates.
  • Manage campaign budgets effectively and identify areas for optimisation and improvement.
Analytics & Reporting (Essential)
  • Track, analyse, and report on social media and digital campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, and similar platforms.
  • Use data-driven insights to improve content strategies and campaign effectiveness.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Meta reporting and analysis.
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, algorithms, and industry best practices.
Collaboration
  • Work closely with the broader marketing team to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across all platforms.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 24 years proven experience in social media management and/or digital marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of major social media platforms and back-end management tools.
  • Experience using analytics and reporting tools such as Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, and Google Analytics.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Graphic design experience using tools such as Canva and/or Photoshop.
  • Experience running paid campaigns, analysing campaign performance, identifying improvement areas, and managing budgets.
  • Valid drivers licence.
