A premier marine manufacturing organization based in Port Elizabeth is seeking a dynamic Executive Sales Specialist to expand their footprint across South Africa and the broader African continent .
Unlike traditional "on-the-road" sales roles, this position is heavily focused on strategic, admin-intensive account development, relationship building, and high-level proposal writing . Because the target market spans multiple countries and territories, your days will be spent cultivating business via telephone, digital communication, and comprehensive written presentations .

Key Responsibilities- Strategic Account Penetration: Establish, develop, and maintain deep business relationships with existing and prospective clients across assigned international and domestic territories.
- Inside Sales & Prospecting: Secure new orders using a relationship-based approach via phone calls, cold calling, email, and virtual presentations .
- Proposal & Quote Creation: Research prospective clients, analyze market potential, and design highly detailed, accurate written proposals and quotations.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with marketing, management, accounting, logistics, and technical service groups to ensure a seamless client onboarding experience .
- Market Intelligence: Supply management with regular reports on customer needs, competitive landscape activities, and industry trends to help guide product development .
- Event Management: Coordinate and manage company participation in boat/trade shows, conventions, and industry events .
- Education: Grade 12 minimum .
- Industry Knowledge (Crucial): A proven track record in sales accompanied by direct experience or strong knowledge/exposure to the marine/boating industry . We will also consider passionate candidates from other sectors who own a boat, have recreational boating experience, or possess deep industry exposure.
- Technical & Analytical Prowess: Advanced MS Excel skills are essential (must be highly proficient with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) . Strong financial acumen, project costing abilities, and CRM software management experience are required .
- Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills . You must be comfortable drafting complex corporate proposals .
- Travel Readiness: While primarily office-based in Perseverance, you must possess a valid drivers license and be fully prepared to travel domestically and into Africa from time to time for client visits and trade shows .
