IT Infrastructure Manager
Communicate Recruitment Cape Town
Develop and execute a forward-thinking infrastructure roadmap aligned to business strategy
Lead upgrades, migrations, capacity planning and technology refresh cycles
Oversee Windows & Linux environments across on-prem and Microsoft Azure
Manage HP Servers, SAN storage, virtualization platforms, and backup solutions
Own core networking infrastructure (HP / Aruba switches, LAN/WAN and firewalls)
Partner closely with Security teams on perimeter and internal controls
Integrate infrastructure automation into CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with development teams for streamlined deployment workflows
Develop and maintain robust IT continuity and DR plans
Ensure compliance with POPIA, GDPR, FSCA and Joint Security Standards
Manage incidents and changes via JIRA Services Management
Lead and mentor infrastructure engineers
Aruba Switching Professional certificate

Skills & Experience: Minimum 8+ years infrastructure experience
Minimum 5+ years in a leadership role
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related field
Azure certification (Solutions Architect or Administrator)Aruba Switching Professional certificate
Red Hat or equivalent Linux certificate
