Our client, a reputable international company with a strong footprint in freight forwarding and logistics, is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage balance sheet accounts, support month-end close activities, and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure adherence to internal controls
- Partner with Finance Manager to monitor inter-company and vendor reconciliations, and action adjustments
- Lead external audit requirements, VAT submissions, and corporate tax accounting
- Monitor cash clearing accounts, approve supplier payments, and support month-end close activities
- Drive process improvements aligned with group objectives
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Education: Degree in Accounting or Finance. Relevant professional accountancy qualification
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a senior accounting role. Multi-country, multi-currency exposure preferred
- Skills: Advanced Excel, MS Office, ERP system experience (SUN/TMFF advantageous), and financial dashboards
- Other: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to work with all levels of the organisation
Preferred:
- Experience in freight forwarding or a similar business
- ERP accounting system experience
