Legal Credit Controller

Reporting to the Legal Manager, youll thrive in this role if you love working with the law in action, enjoy being at the heart of credit management, and have a knack for resolving complex cases with professionalism and precision.

What You'll Be Doing (Your Current Load):

• Acting as the central fuse between stores and head office on all legal credit control matters
• Managing legal account handovers and being the go-to contact for all escalations
• Working closely with Regional Credit Controllers (indirectly reporting into you) to keep accounts on track and shock-free
• Handling the full legal collection process, including liaising with Attorneys
• Dealing with CGIC on insured debtors and claims
• Monitoring payment plans and ensuring that overdue accounts dont short-circuit the bottom line
• Keeping accurate records, correspondence, and documentation legally and financially spark-proof

You're Our Perfect Fit If You Have:

• A BCom Law, LLB, or BCom in Accounting / Finance
• At least 2 years experience in a legal credit control / debt collection role
• Strong knowledge of credit risk, CGIC processes, and legal handover procedures
• A natural authority: Even without direct reports, you can conduct the current and keep everyone aligned
• A young, ambitious attitude with a hunger to make your mark in a high-voltage, fast-paced environment
