Workshop Manager

A Senior Workshop Manager with experience in managing bending and rolling processes as well as fabrication operations and all-round workshop production, oversees the production processes involving forming of steel plates. This role requires a deep understanding of both the technical aspects of bending and rolling machinery / Fabrication / Manufacturing and the operational management of a workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision and Coordination: Overseeing daily workshop activities, ensuring that production schedules are met while maintaining quality standards.
• Team Management: Leading a team of skilled operators and technicians, providing training, guidance, and support to enhance their skills and productivity.
• Process Improvement: Analysing current processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, thereby increasing efficiency, and reducing waste.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Knowledge: A strong technical background and Extensive understanding of bending and rolling techniques, machinery, and their applications in manufacturing.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify problems and implement effective solutions quickly.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members, management, and clients.
• Experience: 10 to 15 Years of hands-on experience in a similar role, with a background in steel service centre processes or a related field.
