We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Insurance Clerk to join our logistics team based in the East Rand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing insurance-related documentation, claims, and reporting, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage insurance claims for goods in transit
- Liaise with insurance providers, brokers, and internal departments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date insurance records
- Prepare monthly insurance reports and claim summaries using Excel
- Assist with policy renewals and audits
- Identify and escalate insurance-related risks or discrepancies
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an insurance or administrative role, preferably within the logistics industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data entry, basic reporting)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Must reside in the East Rand area
- Matric certificate (essential); a relevant diploma or certificate in insurance or logistics will be an advantage
