Technical Project Manager

Job Description
  • Manage and oversee live system environments, including server setup, applications, and performance
  • Plan and execute site-based projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and quality standards
  • Coordinate installation preparation, logistics, and resource allocation
  • Lead and manage technical and deployment teams across multiple regions
  • Oversee site visits, including audits (inventory, installation, reporting, and returns)
  • Ensure quality assurance across systems and project platforms
  • Review and approve project scopes and technical documentation
  • Drive process improvements in installation methods and operational workflows
  • Monitor firmware updates and manage system changes through structured processes
  • Collaborate with development teams and vendors to enhance system performance
  • Support training and upskilling of technical teams to improve efficiency and independence
  • Maintain strong cross-departmental communication and alignment
Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in project management within a technical or operational environment
  • Strong understanding of system deployments, installations, and live environments
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple projects
  • Knowledge of quality control, auditing, and process improvement
  • Ability to manage timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g. Zoho or similar) advantageous
Qualifications
  • BCom / BSc / BEng or related qualification
  • ITIL 4 (advantageous)
  • PRINCE2 (v7) or PMBOK certification
  • CompTIA A+ (advantageous
