Senior Accountant
A well-established and innovative engineering and mining solutions company is looking to appoint a skilled Senior Accountant to strengthen their finance function. This role calls for a confident professional with strong capabilities in reporting, tax, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Based in Centurion, this permanent position offers exposure to both technical accounting and operational finance, working closely with engineering and mining teams to support informed decision-making and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Manage tax compliance, submissions, and support effective tax planning
- Partner with operational teams to provide accurate financial insights
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies
- Support and manage month-end and year-end financial processes
- Apply leadership experience to guide and mentor junior finance team members
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom degree
- SAIPA qualification (preferred)
- Exposure to engineering and/or mining environments (advantageous)
- Strong experience in reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and tax
- Prior people or process management experience beneficial
