We are seeking motivated and hardworking candidates to join a structured 3-Year Millwright Apprenticeship Programme where learners will gain both practical workplace experience and theoretical training while earning a monthly stipend.

Minimum Requirements:

• * Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Physical Science
• OR
• * Technical N2/N3 qualification with relevant trade subjects
• * Must have own reliable transport
• * Must reside within 30km of Driehoek, Germiston
• * Must be willing to work overtime, shifts, and standby duties
• * Strong safety awareness and willingness to learn

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• * Mechanical and electrical knowledge
• * Troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities
• * Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• * Physical fitness and coordination
• * Self-driven and able to work under pressure
• * Basic computer literacy
• * Microsoft Office basic proficiency
• * Exposure to PLC/HMI systems is advantageous
• * Basic understanding of maintenance and workshop systems is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

• * Assist qualified Millwrights and maintenance staff with electrical and mechanical maintenance
• * Participate in practical workplace training and theoretical studies
• * Assist with fault finding, troubleshooting, and repairs on machinery and equipment
• * Perform preventative maintenance and inspections under supervision
• * Learn to interpret technical drawings and schematics
• * Ensure all work complies with company safety standards and procedures
• * Maintain excellent housekeeping and safe working practices
• * Assist with installations, modifications, and maintenance of machinery
• * Complete training logs, maintenance reports, and documentation accurately
• * Attend training sessions, assessments, and trade development activities
• * Assist Supervisors and Management with additional tasks when required
