Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with dispensing doctors across the Western Cape North territory. The role focuses on promoting pharmaceutical products, driving territory sales growth, and expanding Austells market presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with dispensing doctors and healthcare professionals
  • Promote and detail pharmaceutical products within the assigned area
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the healthcare sector
  • Execute structured territory planning and regular doctor visits
  • Achieve agreed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Provide market feedback, competitor insights, and customer intelligence
  • Maintain accurate reporting and territory management records

Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • Degree or Diploma in Commerce, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred

Experience:

  • Previous pharmaceutical sales, healthcare sales, or business development experience advantageous
  • Sales experience in a target-driven environment will be considered

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Self-driven with strong sales and business development mindset
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel within the Western Cape North territory
