The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding on various metal components, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on mild steel and other metals
- Read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols
- Prepare materials, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning
- Inspect welded components for accuracy and quality
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper usage
- Adhere to all safety standards and procedures
Minimum Requirements:
- Qualified Welder (relevant trade certification)
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Good understanding of welding safety practices
Advantageous:
- Experience in fabrication or manufacturing environments
- Ability to work overtime when required
