Qualified Diagnostic / Service Technician (Passenger Vehicles) - KwaZulu Natal, South Coast

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled vehicle services and preventative maintenance
• Conduct diagnostics and fault-finding on mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
• Repair and replace vehicle components in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• Accurately identify and resolve vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment
• Complete job cards, workshop reports, and related documentation accurately
• Conduct vehicle inspections and quality control checks
• Carry out road tests where required
• Ensure all work is completed within allocated labour times and workshop standards
• Maintain workshop tools and equipment in good working order
• Adhere to dealership policies, manufacturer procedures, and health and safety regulations
• Participate in ongoing technical training and development programmes

Requirements:

• Qualified Passenger Vehicle Technician (Red Seal Trade Test essential)
• Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience within a franchised passenger vehicle dealership
• Proven experience as a Diagnostic and/or Service Technician
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
• Experience using manufacturer diagnostic equipment and workshop systems
• Sound knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems
• Valid driver's licence
• Computer literate
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Motor Industry experience Essential!
