Senior Marketing Manager

Our client, a holding company for some of South Africa''s leading financial service providers, is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to serve as the chief custodian of their prominent brands.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Develop and drive the brand marketing strategy, ensuring strong commercial alignment between business goals and marketing initiatives.
Media & Communication: Lead the development of multi-mode communication and media strategies to target identified audiences and deliver against profit targets.
Financial Accountability: Take full responsibility for setting and managing function budgets, ensuring they align with organizational strategy and hit associated sales targets.
Insight & Innovation: Identify market opportunities and innovations based on comprehensive customer and competitor research.Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with internal top management and external partners, including media agencies.
Leadership: Set the functions strategy, manage team performance, and provide coaching to build organizational capability.
Requirements:
Education: A University Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or an equivalent qualification is essential. A postgraduate qualification is considered an advantage.
Marketing Experience: At least 10 years of substantial general work experience in Marketing.Leadership Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience specifically managing a marketing team.
Industry Knowledge: Experience within the Financial Services Industry is highly advantageous.
Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and standard office software.
Core Competencies: Proven ability to drive results, manage complexity, and maintain strategic mindset while demonstrating financial and commercial acumen.
