Finance Manager

This opportunity is with a well‑established group operating within the security and mining space, managing a multi‑entity structure with significant annual turnover.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full financial function across six legal entities, driving accurate consolidations, and supporting strategic planning through robust budgeting and forecasting.

This role requires a confident communicator who can engage with stakeholders across the business, manage and develop a finance team, and ensure financial clarity in a fast‑paced, high‑compliance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing inter-company transactions and consolidations across 6 legal entities
• Preparation and review of group financial statements (turnover ± R 300 million per annum)
• Leading the budgeting and forecasting process
• Full responsibility for financial accounting and reporting
• Managing and developing a team of 6 direct reports
• Ensuring strong financial controls, compliance, and accurate reporting
• Partnering with operational leadership to support business decision‑making

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Qualification:
• CA(SA) essential
• Experience:
• Proven Finance Manager experience within a multi‑entity group structure
• Strong consolidations and inter-company accounting exposure
• Background within security, mining, or similarly regulated industries
• Team leadership experience (minimum 6 direct reports)
• Systems:
• Pastel and/or QuickBooks experience
• Skills:
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Strong attention to detail and deadline‑driven
• Ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights
