BEAUTY Industry (Spas) Senior Human Resources Manager URGENTLY needed in JHB - Joburg

• Experience: 5- 8 years of progressive HR experience, with several years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Education: Bachelors Degree in HR, Business Administration, HR Certificate, or a related field is required; a Masters Degree is a BONUS.
• Skills: Strong understanding of employment law, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in HR technology and data analytics.

Responsibilities include:

• To manage 11 Beauty Spas across South Africa, and 1 International (Africa)
• Report Structure: Reports to the Business Owner directly
• Act as Lead Administrative Staff Employee Relations Consultant to all domestic regional offices and oversee day-to-day employee relations for the JHB, CT & Africa office administrative staff.
• Lead the performance management process and enable teams to achieve challenging targets and realise the company's vision.
• Leads positive employee relations efforts within all facilities.
• Recruit for exempt and non-exempt positions.
• Assist with recruitment, including entering employment applications in the System and entering background check data.
• Prepare and coordinate all new hire packets, including entering in HR database.
• Prepare and coordinate termination paperwork, including entering termination in HRDB.
• Conduct New Hire Orientation and assist with new hire paperwork meetings, and follow up with the employee to ensure all paperwork is received.
• Ensure all job posting information on the net is accurate and updated as needed.
• Flexibility around schedule or work environment.
