Job Description

As a Project Administrator/ Assistant, you will be at the heart of the project administration department, responsible for ensuring smooth communication between clients and departments. You will also be responsible for the following:

  • Client Communication: Serve as a primary contact for clients, handling inquiries and maintaining strong
communication channels.
  • Progress Reporting: Prepare and send regular progress reports to clients, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Meeting Coordination: Attend daily production meetings, take detailed minutes, and distribute reports as needed.
  • Cross-Departmental Liaison: Act as a bridge between departments, facilitating communication between sales, procurement, quality, workshop, and logistics to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Document Management: Keep reports and project-related documents organised, up-to-date, and accessible for

team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Matric
Skills
  • Min 3 years in a project administration, project planning or as a project assistant
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering company, especially in pump or related industries
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies or tools
  • Proficiency in office software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite), ERP systems and project management tools (e.g. Gantt
charts)
  • Ability to work collaboratively and transparently with various departments and maintain effective communication

with clients
