Financial Accountant

Our client is seeking a BComâqualified Financial Accountant with 35 years experience and completed SAICA or SAIPA articles. The successful candidate will be confident working across daily accounting operations, monthly reporting, compliance, and audits.
This role is wellâsuited to someone who values accuracy, accountability, and being fully involved in the numbers behind the business.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Managing the full finance function
- Preparing journals, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly management reporting and yearâend support
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Supporting audits and statutory requirements
- Assisting with ad hoc finance and reporting requests
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Education:
- BCom degree
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
- Experience:
- 35 years accounting experience in a commercial or professional environment
- Skills:
- Strong fullâfunction accounting capability
- Solid technical accounting and reporting skills
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong ownership and accountability mindset
