Head of Finance and Funding
This role is ideally suited to a commercially astute finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, and is equally comfortable in the boardroom and in the detail of financial execution.
Key duties: Lead and support equity and debt funding processes
Build and manage complex financial modelsPrepare investment memoranda and funding decks
Engage directly with: Banks
Private equity housesInfrastructure funds
Development finance institutions
Coordinate due diligence and funding execution
Support project finance structuring (SPVs, HoldCo structures)
Stakeholder engagement
Act as the primary financial interface for: Investors
LendersAuditors and advisors
Present financial updates to senior leadership and boards
Partner closely with development and delivery teams

Skills & Experience:Minimum 58 years experience in: Project finance
Investment banking / corporate financeProven exposure to funding transactions and deal environments
Strong financial modelling capability
Commercially sharp and solutions-driven
Confident in investor-facing environments
Hands-on with a strong sense of ownership
Able to thrive in a lean, fast-paced environment
Entrepreneurial mindset with high accountability
Qualification: CA(SA) / BCom Honours and strong commercial finance background with relevant experience
