Financial Accountant

As the Financial Accountant, your duties include the following: Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and technically compliant
Maintain compliance with group accounting policies, internal controls, and established processesPrepare month-end reports
Post general journals within required timelines
Manage intercompany invoicing, confirmations, and reconciliations
Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end budget analysis
Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly statutory submissions, including payroll and tax
Build and maintain effective working relationships with the finance teams and other departments
Respond to ad hoc requests from Group and provide support to the Senior Accountant as required
Skills & Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience as an Accountant in a commercial space
Experience obtained in the retail, FMCG or media space would be highly preferredExcellent communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours
Strong knowledge of reporting and taxation
Qualification: Completed BCom degree in Finance or Accounting
Grade 12 (Matric)
