Employee Relations Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage disciplinary, grievance & incapacity processes
  • Advise management on labour relations matters
  • Represent the company at CCMA & Bargaining Councils
  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation & company policies
  • Build strong union & employee representative relationships
  • Facilitate ER training & awareness initiatives
  • Support HR projects, reporting & investigations

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in HRM, Industrial Psychology, or related field
  • Advanced Diploma in Labour Law advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years ER / IR experience in a unionized environment
  • Strong CCMA & Bargaining Council experience
  • Solid knowledge of disciplinary, grievance & incapacity procedures
  • Strong communication, analytical & decision-making skills
  • Sage 300 People experience advantageous
