Role Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Used Vehicle Sales Manager to lead all aspects of pre-owned vehicle sales operations. This role is ideal for someone with deep industry knowledge, a proven track record in used car management, and the ability to lead a high-performing team to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum 35 years in a senior automotive sales role.
• Prior management experience in used vehicle sales is essential.
• Valid drivers license.
• Automotive sales training or certification (advantageous).
• Strong knowledge of used vehicle markets and valuation trends.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to manage stock, drive sales, and maintain profitability.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Customer-focused with a professional and proactive approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all used vehicle sales operations.
• Source, evaluate, and procure quality pre-owned vehicles for resale.
• Set competitive pricing strategies aligned with market trends and stock turnover goals.
• Ensure timely reconditioning of vehicles for sale readiness.
• Lead, train, and motivate the used car sales team to consistently meet and exceed targets.
• Monitor stock aging and rotation to maintain an optimal inventory mix.
• Drive and manage digital and traditional marketing strategies for pre-owned vehicles.
• Negotiate and close high-value deals with customers and trade partners.
• Maintain strict compliance with all dealership policies and legal obligations.
• Analyze key sales and operational metrics (GP per unit, ROI, stock days) and implement improvements where needed.
