Somatologist (Retail confident)

RETAIL-ORIENTATED SOMATOLOGIST

SOMERSET WEST, Western-Cape (South Africa)

START: 07 July 2025

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday - Sunday
• SHIFTS 09:00am
• 18:00pm / 10:00am
• 19:00pm (Shift rotate)
• RETAIL HOURS - Must be flexible to work shifts, weekends and all major holidays

EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full time / Permanent

SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• R10,000 - R16,000 Basic Salary per month (Based on desired qualification & skills)
• 5% Commission (Retail)
• Incentives

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / BABTAC or internationally recognized accreditation
2. DIPLOMA Somatology / Dermal Aesthetics (Minimum 3 year diploma)
3. Beautifully groomed, manicured and presentable
4. Confident and knowledgeable on advanced skin care and ingredients
5. Confident retailer! This position is all about educating the clients on their skin regime and prescribing the relevant home care / retail advise

EXPERIENCE:

1. Employment experience as a skin care therapist / somatologist
2. Retail experience is highly favorable
3. Cruise Ship - BONUS
4. Experience working with active ingredients

1. Confident performing a detailed skin analysis
2. Ability to effectively prescribe relevant home care
3. Retail confident - this is VERY important!
4. Strong team dynamic - able to work in a team with team-player mentality
5. Sales driven, career motivated and eager to advance yourself
6. Promote the store, the brands and the new industry trends
