Key Responsibilities- Costing Ownership: Independently collect, structure, validate, and analyze all data required to complete the full, end-to-end costing process.
- Efficiency & Turnaround: Prepare and submit precise costings within strict turnaround times to support daily operational and commercial decisions.
- Process Improvement: Identify costing discrepancies, inefficiencies, and commercial risks, implementing corrective actions and scalable structures.
- System Optimization: Implement and manage a dedicated costing application (APP), ensuring successful company-wide adoption and continuous optimization.
- Financial Insight: Analyze pricing, project costs, supplier costs, and margin performance to protect and improve profitability (GP management).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with operations, procurement, warehouse, finance, and sales teams to align costing with broader commercial objectives.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain robust costing models, reports, and analytical tools to support management and strategic decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Cost & Management Accounting, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related commercial/operational field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- A solid understanding of costing principles, pricing structures, and gross profit calculations.
Minimum Experience:
- 35 years of experience in a costing, commercial analyst, finance, or process improvement role.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end costing processes within a commercial or operational environment.
- Demonstrated track record of implementing process improvements and boosting operational efficiencies.
- Experience working cross-functionally with finance, operations, procurement, and sales teams.
- Advantageous: Prior experience with system implementation or optimization projects.
