Key Responsibilities
  • Costing Ownership: Independently collect, structure, validate, and analyze all data required to complete the full, end-to-end costing process.
  • Efficiency & Turnaround: Prepare and submit precise costings within strict turnaround times to support daily operational and commercial decisions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify costing discrepancies, inefficiencies, and commercial risks, implementing corrective actions and scalable structures.
  • System Optimization: Implement and manage a dedicated costing application (APP), ensuring successful company-wide adoption and continuous optimization.
  • Financial Insight: Analyze pricing, project costs, supplier costs, and margin performance to protect and improve profitability (GP management).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with operations, procurement, warehouse, finance, and sales teams to align costing with broader commercial objectives.
  • Reporting: Develop and maintain robust costing models, reports, and analytical tools to support management and strategic decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Cost & Management Accounting, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related commercial/operational field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • A solid understanding of costing principles, pricing structures, and gross profit calculations.

Minimum Experience:

  • 35 years of experience in a costing, commercial analyst, finance, or process improvement role.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end costing processes within a commercial or operational environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of implementing process improvements and boosting operational efficiencies.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with finance, operations, procurement, and sales teams.
  • Advantageous: Prior experience with system implementation or optimization projects.
