Quality Assurance Officer (QHSE)

Department: QHSE

Minimum Requirements:

• Essential: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
• Preferred: Trade Qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in refrigeration QC, manufacturing, or installation
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 3834-2, NCRs, RCA, CAPA, documentation, and traceability
• Health and Safety awareness in manufacturing/assembly environments
• Proficient with inspection tools, technical drawings, and QMS systems (e.g., DocuWare)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-process and final inspections of refrigeration components and assemblies
• Inspect welding, brazing, piping, and mechanical assemblies for compliance
• Perform pressure, vacuum, and leak testing
• Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
• Maintain inspection records, documentation, and traceability
• Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and defect prevention
• Collaborate with production, QA, and Health & Safety teams to resolve quality issues
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, internal QMS, and Health & Safety requirements
