Duties:

Operational and guest service responsibilities
Night audit and financial responsibilities

Security, safety and compliance responsibilities

Supervisory / leadership responsibilities: Ensure accuracy and completeness of the night audit, end-of-day procedures and financial reports.

Perform check-in and check-out procedures according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Post room and conference charges to respective folios accurately and on time.
Transfer charges and deposits to master accounts as per SOP.

Verify that all charges posted from restaurant, bar, Micros / POS and SPA have reached the correct guest folios and that no dockets are missing.

Requirements:

National Senior Certificate

Minimum 2 to 3 years of hotel front desk supervisory experience, experience handling cash, accounting procedures, and general administrative tasks.
Previous night audit experience and exposure to hotel financial reporting will be an advantage.
Well-developed communication and customer relations skills.
Knowledge of hotel Front Office operations, night audit procedures and relevant hotel policies.

High level of customer service and maintain a high profile in the day-to-day front office operations.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during the night shift.

Highly organised, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible
Ability to work with computer systems, telephones etc.
Ability to work in a hotel environment with varying levels of noise and guest activity.
High level of integrity, reliability and professionalism.

Demonstrated leadership, initiative and hands-on approach to daily operations.
