Accountant

Support day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations within a growing fintech environment

• Process and reconcile transactions across multiple payment streams and platforms
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month‑end close processes
• Perform reconciliations across bank accounts, payments, and operational systems
• Assist with financial reporting and support management with insights
• Work closely with operational teams to ensure financial accuracy and process efficiency
• Monitor and resolve discrepancies across financial data and systems
• Support improvements in processes, controls, and reporting workflows
• Assist with audit preparation and compliance requirements
• Contribute to a collaborative, hands‑on finance function in a startup environment

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 12 years experience in accounting
• Strong attention to detail with ability to multitask effectively
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Adaptable and proactive mindset suited to a startup culture

Qualification:

• Any post‑matric qualification including Diploma OR Certificate OR Degree in Finance or Accounting
