What you will lead
Strategic & Operational Finance- Budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
- Monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Financial modelling, reporting, and commercial insights
- Job costing, WIP, margins, cost controls
- Tracking project performance with on-site teams
- Commercial decision support on active contracts
- Statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements (multi-jurisdiction)
- Internal controls, risk management, and governance
- Audit preparation and coordination
- Collaborate with project managers and operational leads
- Act as a trusted advisor on financial performance
- Support continuous improvement of financial processes and systems
Who Should Apply
Ideal Profile- 7+ years in a senior finance or Financial Manager role
- Strong operational finance exposure in construction, engineering, or mining
- Experience with project accounting, WIP, and site-based work
- Comfortable working independently in remote or high-activity environments
- Strong in stakeholder engagement and commercial decision-making
- CA(SA), CA(Z), ACCA, CIMA, OR senior non-CA finance professional
- Advanced Excel + ERP experience (Sage, SAP, etc.)
- First preference: Already based in Harare
- Next best: SA-based candidates willing to be 75% in Zimbabwe
- Influence the financial direction of high-value infrastructure projects
