Accountant

A well-established and progressive organisation based in Centurion is looking to appoint an Accountant to join their finance team.

This opportunity is ideal for a driven BCom-qualified professional with 35 years of accounting experience who is eager to contribute within a business that values strategic thinking, financial insight, and long-term growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the full accounting function while assisting with financial reporting, reconciliations, and investment-related activities. This role is suited to an individual who is analytical, proactive, and able to think beyond the numbers to contribute to broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain general ledger accounts
• Prepare and perform reconciliations accurately and timeously
• Assist with month-end and year-end reporting processes
• Support financial reporting and management accounts preparation
• Assist with company investment reporting and analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Support audit preparation and finance-related documentation
• Assist with ad hoc finance and accounting responsibilities

Job Experience & Qualifications:

• BCom in Accounting essential
• 3 5 years accounting experience
• Strong reconciliation and reporting experience
• Exposure to investment-related environments advantageous
• Forward-thinking and analytical mindset
• Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Excellent communication skills
