Job Description:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the industrial automation sector
- Meet with clients to understand their control systems and automation requirements
- Conduct site visits and assist in developing technical solutions
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical submissions
- Present automation and control solutions to customers
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Support project handovers and ensure customer satisfaction
- Keep up to date with industry developments and emerging technologies
Skills & Experience:
- Passion for control systems, automation, and industrial technology
- Basic understanding of PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation, drives, or industrial control systems
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, driven, and eager to develop a career in technical sales
- Good organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- 13 years' experience in a technical, engineering, automation, or customer-facing role is advantageous
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related field
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel
