Seeking an experienced and driven Site Manager / Site Agent to oversee the successful delivery of luxury residential, boutique hotel, and commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on construction professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, leadership, and delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily site operations from project commencement through to completion.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor construction progress against programme and project milestones.
  • Ensure all work complies with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and building regulations.
  • Maintain site health and safety compliance and enforce safe working practices.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
  • Manage procurement and material deliveries to avoid delays.
  • Track project costs, labour productivity, and resource utilisation.
  • Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, architects, and project stakeholders.
  • Prepare progress reports and communicate project updates to management.
  • Resolve on-site technical and operational challenges proactively.
  • Drive a culture of professionalism, accountability, and excellence on site.
Minimum Requirements
  • National Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience as a Site Manager, Site Agent, or Senior Foreman within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience on residential, hospitality, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, quality control, and site administration.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of South African building regulations and health & safety requirements.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction reporting systems.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between project sites.
Advantageous
  • Experience working on luxury residential homes, boutique hotels, or high-end developments.
  • CCS, MS Project, or similar construction management software experience.
  • SACPCMP registration or progress towards registration.
