Operations Manager

Manages warehouse, logistics, and customer support operations at the branch level to ensure service excellence and stock accuracy. You will be the bridge between our strategic goals and local execution, managing the Cape Town-based team and streamlining processes to drive growth.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise dispatch, receiving, stock control, and driver teams.
• Oversee branch stocktake and inventory accuracy.
• Monitor logistics performance and on-time delivery.
• Manage support staff and the customer collection area.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping, and operational efficiency.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and managing operational expenses to ensure healthy margins.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers (specifically within the Western Cape region) to ensure seamless delivery and procurement.
• Ensure all operations adhere to South African labor laws, health and safety regulations (OHS), and company policies.
• Manage and optimize daily business operations to ensure maximum productivity and cost-effectiveness.
• Mentor and lead the Cape Town team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and high performance.

Essential Requirements:

• 5+ years in logistics or operations management.
• Bachelors degree in Business Management. Operations, or a related field.
• Strong organisational and staff supervision skills.
• Knowledge of stock systems and basic financial controls.
