Senior Accountant
Im currently expanding my network of Senior Accountants across Gauteng for upcoming and often unadvertised opportunities. This is not an active vacancy, but a proactive search to connect with professionals who bring strong technical accounting expertise, reporting capability, and sound operational insight.
These roles typically sit in environments where Senior Accountants are more than transactional processors they are key contributors to financial integrity, reporting quality, and meaningful business insight.
Who Im Looking to Connect With:
- Senior Accountants managing or supporting the full finance function
- Professionals with strong exposure to IFRS, reporting, and compliance
- Individuals experienced in month-end processes, reconciliations, and balance sheet control
- Candidates operating in fast-paced, high-volume, or operational environments
- Finance professionals beginning to take on leadership or mentoring responsibilities
Background & Skills of Interest:
- BCom / Honours / CA(SA) / SAIPA / CIMA or similar
- 38+ years experience in a Senior Accountant (or similar) role
- Strong technical understanding of financial reporting and controls
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel
- A track record of contributing to process improvements and reporting efficiencies
- Open industry exposure (manufacturing, fintech, logistics, services, etc.)
