Health & Safety Administrator

Main purpose: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic (YES) candidate to join our HSE team. The HSE YES Candidate

workplace culture across all operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting workplace risk assessments and hazard identification.
• Support the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Help maintain safety records, data collection, and reporting systems.
• Assist in delivering HSE induction and training sessions for staff and contractors.
• Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure proper compliance.
• Support the preparation of HSE documentation, such as safety plans, permits, and reports.
• Promote a strong safety culture by engaging with teams and participating in toolbox talks.
• Collaborate with HSE team members on improvement initiatives and sustainability projects.

Requirements:

• South African unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34
• Must not have participated on the YES Programme before
• Introduction to SAMTRAC/SAMTRAC
• ISO 45001
• Strong interest in HSE practices and compliance.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work as part of a team and under supervision.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Awareness of local HSE regulations (a plus, but not mandatory)
• Good administrative skills with special attention to detail
• Must be medically fit
• Applicants must reside in Cosmo City, Diepsloot, Soweto, Tembisa, Randburg, Roodepoort, Krugersdorp and surrounding areas
