Pretoria - IT Technician

Minimum requirements:

• Installing new software
• Installing new hardware (servers , printers, computer work
• Stations etc.)
• Setting up user accounts, permissions and passwords
• Overseeing security of all systems, especially the internet.
• Installing anti-virus protection
• Fixing network faults
• Technical knowledge on new IT systems
• Day to day admin and monitoring of networks use
• Planning future improvements
• Suggesting IT solutions to business problems
• Making sure all IT meets industry standards
• GRN stock into IQ Retail System
• Be able to conduct a stock take, with the operations manager, accounting manager and customs manager to put inventory in line within the system (i.e. stock control)
• Generate Stock Movements from warehouse(s) to store(s)
• Draw stock reports, MIS reports, accounting reports, and HR reports (if any)
• Be able to give IT support to all departments when necessary
• Anything else within the scope of IT work that the company may require
