Supply Chain Manager – Manufacturing Sector

Key Focus Areas:

• Procurement & Vendor Management
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts to drive value and ensure quality.
• Ensure timeous delivery of all materials and consumables.
• Inventory, Stores & Assembly
• Manage stores and assembly operations.
• Implement and improve systems for stock control and process efficiency.
• Analyse slow-moving or obsolete stock and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demand Forecasting & Planning
• Develop and sustain production planning systems to ensure on-time, in-full delivery.
• Oversee demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory control.
• Prepare and present reports to support informed decision-making.
• Inbound & Outbound Logistics
• Optimise transport, logistics, and distribution channels.
• Manage import/export documentation and ensure cost-effective delivery solutions.
• Enhance processes for inventory, shipment, and returns management.

What Youll Bring:

• 5+ years experience in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or operations leadership.
• A bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field (NQF 7).
• A proven track record of improving efficiency, reducing costs, and building supplier partnerships.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritise and perform under pressure.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
