Proposals Engineer

Job Description:

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in line with client requirements
• Interact directly with clients to clarify scope, technical requirements, and commercial queries
• Compile and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) for proposed solutions
• Liaise closely with the engineering team to ensure technically accurate and feasible proposals
• Prepare cost estimates and quotations for engineering solutions and equipment
• Review and interpret technical documentation and drawings to support proposal development

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a Proposals / Estimating / Technical Sales role
• Proven experience working with turbo machinery and pressure vessels
• Strong ability to understand and interpret technical and engineering drawings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for costing, estimating, and analysis
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients and internal stakeholders
• High attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadlines

Qualification:

• Minimum BTech in Mechanical Engineering
