Junior Accountant

Youll be part of a collaborative finance team, supporting day-to-day accounting functions while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role is ideal for a Junior Accountant, with a solid foundation, who is eager to grow their skills within a fast-moving environment and gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of finance

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Process journals, accruals, and reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
• Support bank reconciliations and cashbook management
• Ensure accurate capturing and maintenance of financial records on Xero

Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):

• 23 years experience in a Junior Accountant or similar role
• Experience working on Xero (essential)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• BCom Degree or relevant financial qualification (advantageous)
• Experience within the travel, hospitality, or service-based industries advantageous
