Financial Manager

A respected and growing industrial business is seeking a Financial Manager to take ownership of the full finance function. From reporting and compliance to forecasting and cash flow, this is your opportunity to lead a team, influence operations, and drive business performance.
Duties:
- Delivering monthly management reports and annual statutory accounts
- Preparing tax packs and handling all income tax and provisional returns
- Managing internal and external audit engagements
- Leading cash flow, forecasting, and supplier relationships
- Running weekly budgets, month-end procedures, and journal approvals
- Overseeing the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
- Ensuring ERP control, supplier detail accuracy, and VAT/statutory payments
- Aligning stock accuracy with operations and resolving variances
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations across a 9-entity group
What Do You Need?:
- Professional qualification: CA(SA), CIMA, or SAIPA
- Minimum 5 years in a Financial Manager or Senior Accountant role
- High proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to lead under pressure and solve complex finance challenges
- A mindset that values control, compliance, and continuous improvement
