Accountant

An exciting opportunity exists for a meticulous and commercially aware Accountant to take ownership of core accounting functions within a dynamic, high‑volume, multi‑entity environment.

What you will be doing:

• Process accounts payable, including invoices, expense claims, and payment runs
• Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
• Perform bank and payment reconciliations across multiple accounts and platforms
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are audit-ready
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments, and financial adjustments
• Reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with financial reporting, management accounts, and variance analysis
• Support audits by preparing schedules and required documentation
• Identify inefficiencies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What we are looking for:

• National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in full-cycle accounting
• Strong experience in AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end processes
• Exposure to multi-entity or high-volume environments preferred
• ERP system experience, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
