Accounts Controller

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & Administration:

• Monitor and manage client accounts to ensure timely payments.
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions.
• Update customer account details including contact info, credit limits, and payment terms.
• Prepare and submit administrative reports and documentation on time.
• Identify accounts for potential bad debt and initiate handover procedures.

Customer Interface:

• Respond to customer queries related to billing, payments, and claims.
• Contact clients with overdue accounts via phone or email.
• Provide regular accounts receivable reports to senior management.
• Review aging reports and follow up on overdue invoices.

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric certificate.
• At least 5 years experience in an Accounts Controller role.
• Proficient in Excel and Sage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational, planning, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently or in a team.

Advantageous:

• Experience in the logistics or courier industry.
• Familiarity with Parcel Perfect or similar systems.
