Our client, a market leader in the distribution industry, is seeking a Senior Financial Manager to join their growing finance function in Johannesburg East.
This is a permanent opportunity for a high-calibre finance professional who brings technical strength, strong consolidation expertise, and proven leadership experience. This position is ideally suited for a Chartered Accountant with a solid track record in managing complex group structures and delivering insights that drive performance.
Duties:
- Oversee the group consolidation process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting across multiple entities.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process, including the preparation of Board packs and statutory submissions.
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering growth and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Qualifications:
- A qualified CA(SA) designation this is essential.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience, with a focus on group-level consolidations and financial reporting.
- Proven experience managing a finance team or function, with a demonstrated ability to lead and mentor.
