Sales Specialist - Industrial Automation

A leading player in the industrial automation sector is looking for a high-performing Sales Engineer to drive business development and key account growth within the FMCG market across Gauteng. This role is best suited to a technically strong sales professional with a proven ability to sell automation solutions into production and manufacturing environments.

• Proven external sales experience within industrial automation
• Strong exposure to the FMCG manufacturing sector
• National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical qualification
• Solid understanding of sensors, instrumentation, safety systems, and automation solutions
• Existing network within FMCG plants and production facilities in Gauteng
• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel

• Technical solution selling and client support
• Ability to identify application opportunities and provide tailored automation solutions
• Strong communication and relationship-building ability
• Experience working with engineers, maintenance teams, and plant management
