Packaging Finished Artist (Prepress / DTP)

Key Responsibilities:

• - Translate design concepts into print-ready packaging artwork
• Set up and manage dielines across cartons, labels, tubes and related formats
• Ensure all files meet print specifications (bleed, resolution, colour profiles, finishes, substrates)
• Prepare artwork for local and international production, including offshore suppliers
• Liaise with printers and suppliers to ensure accurate output and resolve technical issues
• Manage Pantone matching, colour consistency, and print finishes (foiling, embossing, varnishes, etc.)
• Conduct detailed preflight checks and quality control on all artwork
• Prepare additional brand and print collateral where required
• Process & Systems Improvement
• Establish and maintain file structures, naming conventions, and version control
• Develop templates and standardised artwork frameworks
• Introduce and refine checklists and workflows to reduce errors
• Contribute to a more structured and efficient artwork-to-production process
• Team Contribution
• Support designers with technical print and finished art guidance
• Troubleshoot artwork and recommend practical production solutions
• Act as the link between design, production, and suppliers
• Bring a proactive, solutions-driven approach to the team

• Proven experience as a Finished Artist / DTP in a packaging or manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of prepress and print production processes
• Solid experience working with dielines and packaging formats
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality control
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
