Sales Engineer - Hard Rock Capital Equipment

A specialist supplier to the mining sector is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to grow its footprint within hard rock mining operations.
This opportunity is suited to a technically strong sales professional who understands underground mining environments and can confidently engage with mine management, engineering teams, and procurement stakeholders on high-value equipment solutions.
Non-Negotiable Requirements- Proven experience selling equipment or technical solutions into hard rock mining
- Strong knowledge of underground mining operations and equipment applications
- Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex technical discussions
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to mine sites
- Track record of achieving sales targets within the mining sector
- Identify and develop new equipment sales opportunities within underground mining operations
- Maintain and grow relationships with key mining accounts
- Conduct site visits and technical consultations with engineering teams
- Prepare proposals, tenders, and commercial quotations
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through to deal closure
- Monitor market activity and identify growth opportunities within the sector
A tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Mining, or Engineering-related fields will be advantageous.
